GRADUATE BUILDING SURVEYOR
Ramsay McMichael Consulting is a Glasgow based, Multi-Disciplinary, Construction Consultancy, involved in a range of projects throughout Scotland and the UK. We are seeking to recruit a Graduate Building Surveyor to join the Practice.
The role will involve all aspects of traditional Building Surveying, including assisting in undertaking a variety of Building Surveying activities, including Dilapidations, Schedules of Condition, Building Surveyors Inspection Reports for Acquisition or Leasehold, specific Defect Analysis reporting, Planned Maintenance reporting and work in relation to Statutory approvals and compliance reports.
An understanding of AutoCAD and/or Revit would be desirable. It is generally envisaged however, that the majority of day-to-day work shall involve Contract Administration duties, at a level reflective of experience. To be considered, the candidate must be at Graduate level, either fresh from completing successful Degree level studies or with appropriate relevant working experience, post Degree.
Being commercially aware and driven to develop client relationships are also desirable skills being sought, with a full commitment to the RICS APC process essential.
