Summer is coming and now is the time to have your security systems checked to make sure they are functioning properly prior to you going on holiday. Some people only use their systems when they go away so best to have them checked now to ensure they are OK, I will be publishing a DIY maintenance check list on this page later this week so that if you have a system you can check it yourself to avoid calling an engineer.

Now available the new Pyronix external detectors, when linked to a Pyronix alarm system these will alert you when they detect movement around your property for example on your driveway. If your not at home they will send a notification to your Pyronix Pro Control App and if linked to a Pyronix CCTV camera will allow you to look at the property and verify it is secure. I am continually being asked about the cost of CCTV so here's a guide.
Whether it's domestic or commercial you have two choices analogue or digital.
Analogue is like old style TV signals and even in HD isn't going to be as good as Digital but there is a price difference.
As a guide two cameras with a 1TB hard drive giving up to 4 months recording will cost around £660 for a digital system.
Two cameras with a 1TB hard drive giving about 4 weeks recording on an analogue system will cost around £500.
The prices include all equipment, installation and a 12 month warranty, for domestic customers the warranty is extended to 3years.
It also includes connection to your internet , set up of the APP on your devices and back up for this.
No monitor is included as most people will have a monitor they can use already or can pick up a second hand model.
