Have you heard of Invisible Cities ? 👀

They are doing some genuinely brilliant work, training people who have experienced homelessness to become walking tour guides and share their own stories of the city. We went for one of the walks and had a great time!

They are hosting a free networking event in Glasgow on Wednesday 29th April (10am–12pm) at theUniversity of Glasgow.

You will get the chance to connect with people from across the third sector, social enterprises, and local businesses in a relaxed and welcoming space.

There will also be a speaker from Social Bite, talking about access to opportunity, employment, and rebuilding futures.

We came across this piece in The Guardian about how talking to strangers and having simple, everyday interactions is genuinely good for our wellbeing. Not big networking events. Not awkward small talk. Just a natural “morning”, a chat at the kettle, a quick exchange before a meeting.
