Can you actually make your beard grow faster?

There are plenty of products online promising rapid beard growth, but there’s no magic switch you can flick.

What you CAN do is give your beard the best possible conditions to grow.

Eat well. Stay hydrated. Keep the skin underneath clean and healthy. Look after the hair you already have so you’re not losing length through unnecessary breakage and damage.

And beard oil? It’s not a miracle growth serum.

A good beard oil conditions the hair and moisturises the skin underneath, helping make the whole growing process more comfortable and manageable.

Sometimes the biggest thing you need is simply time and consistency.

3 months is nothing when you’re growing a beard.

It might not look how you imagined yet. It might still be patchy in places.

You might look at someone else’s beard and wonder why yours isn’t anywhere near it.

Keep going.

Beard hair grows around 1.25cm per month on average and genetics play a massive part in your growth speed, density and coverage.

One of the biggest mistakes you can make is judging your beard too early.

Don’t compare your month 3 to someone else’s year 3.

Give it time to show you what it can actually do.

Shoutout to Elaine Jackson ❤️ It's our 10th wedding anniversary today so I wanted to show some appreciation on here for my wife.

She has been by my side for 21 years and been there when I broke my back, when I started Braw Beard... when I had hair and there for the whole rollercoaster that is Braw Beard.

Without her support, this wee beard care brand probably wouldn't exist.

There will ALWAYS be someone with a bigger, thicker, fuller beard than yours.

Especially online.

If you spend your time comparing yours to theirs, you'll never be happy with what you've got.

Sometimes your beard isn't the problem. You're just your own biggest critic.
