Brighter Barrhead 2050 Vision & Plan Community engagement events

Come and join us in shaping the future of Barrhead!

East Renfrewshire Council is looking to create a more sustainable and resilient Barrhead. To help do this, we would like to invite you to participate in developing a masterplan for the town.

A masterplan is an overall vision for the future of an area. It’s a wide-ranging strategy that guides where development should take place. Your input will help shape everything from parks and facilities to housing and transportation.

The Council is working with Kevin Murray Associates (KMA) to develop the masterplan together with your input. You can get involved by:
• Attending the community drop-in events (see details below)
• Completing a feedback form – that can be found at the events or on the website
• Visiting the website using the QR code below or https://rb.gy/kw3hva to stay upto date on all things relating to the masterplan.

FEEDBACK DEADLINE EXTENDED Malmo and Spillers Quay sites, Newcastle.

Feedback can now be given up to 5pm, Weds 17th November 2021.

These sites are located at the mouth of the Ouseburn, where it meets the River Tyne, in the Lower Ouseburn Valley. The walkabouts will be hosted by PfP-igloo, the development managers who are working with land-owners Newcastle City Council and Homes England.
