Cock-an-effin’ hoop to meet last night. It was a glorious kindness that he wrote Blossomise specially for my imminent adventure … next week I’m starting a gap year… off to Japan first for blossom season. The book is an utter joy. I’ll have The Shed podcasts and Pennine walk series in my back pocket on my journey. Happy daze.

Fantastic day finding out what locals want for Old Luce… in Stranraer Academy, at Glenluce Bowling Club and in Dunragit Hub. Wish I’d filmed it… what a buzz! Great, useful stuff for Old Luce Development Trust community action plan. I’ll be back for more tomorrow and Friday.
