This weekend find shiny Nmarra delights market bonanza in Glasgow's Southside .

Earrings galore! Introducing some new brassy shapes, coming to this weekend alongside firm favourites from the collection.

Each pair is designed to bring a bold graphic pop to your look without weighing you down. These lightweight brass pieces have hypoallergenic gold plated stainless steel hooks, hoops or studs and backs. Brass shapes are finished with a seal and over time, with wear, will deepen in colour, but shine up a treat with a jewellery cloth, cola or household brass cleaner.

Hiya, it's Jen from Nmarra Design doing today ahead of market this weekend!

I design bold and brassy graphically-led statement jewellery pieces, all made in Scotland. I create original designs to frame the face in warm metallic compositions. Once drempt up, sketched and art-worked for production, designs are cut in small sheet batches, then filed, soldered, polished and finished by hand in the studio in Glasgow's end end. I set up Nmarra Design in 2017 and it's been earrings galore ever since...

Big shout out to Fruitmarket and .g.everett for this weekend's celebration of Future Makers in the main gallery space! Find this fleet of fun fluro jelly jewellery pieces on sale this winter, available exclusively in Edinburgh.

Well done to my fellow Future Maker marvels who all put so much graft into their beautifully considered, specially developed pieces.

Great to hear from and Kate Grenyer on their perspectives on contemporary Scottish craft and second a desire for more opportunities like this for Scottish designer-makers to create viable new work both in the gallery and gift shop.

Now on the shelves this neon collection was commissioned as part of Fruitmarket's Future Makers 2025 programme!

Taking inspiration from Kiki Smith's Neon Bow light sculpture, part of the permanent collection , this collection of tubular forms was designed to bring a playful pop of neon to your outfit.

Created using 3D printed models, press moulding techniques, eco-resin and fluro pigments each piece is hand-made, features hypoallergenic gold or silver plated stainless steel findings and are available in warm or cool colour ways.

Join us at Fruitmarket on Friday for the celebration of all the Future Maker projects this year, and book a ticket for Saturdays series of talks and Sundays workshops!
