Gerald Clarence Mungavin

Peacefully at home on the 17th December in the presence of Margaret his wife of 62 years . Gerald will be remembered as a devoted husband , father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend ; an ordained priest in the Scottish Episcopal Church for over 60 years ,serving also as an Army and RAF chaplain .His talents in poetry , painting , his love of nature and simplicity reflected his deep faith and a humility where he always placed others first.
His loved ones let go with heavy but grateful hearts trusting that his journey home is now complete. His loving family give thanks for his life : Margaret ,sons Stephen, David, Mark and Michael . Daughters in law Alison, Pauline, Carina and Stella ; loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
“ And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
