There’s nothing quite like seeing the first PCBs run through our new Mycronic MY300SX Pick & Place machine. Watching the speed, accuracy and efficiency in action has been incredible - it's amazing to see components placed with such precision at such a fast pace.

Investing in new technology allows us to continue improving capability, efficiency and quality for our customers, helping us deliver everything from prototypes to full production runs even more effectively.

At European Circuits Limited, we support customers from initial prototype builds right through to full production runs, helping turn ideas into reliable, finished products.

Whether you're validating a new design or scaling up for larger volumes, we can provide flexible manufacturing solutions tailored to your requirements.

Many PCB assemblies today use a combination of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and PTH (Plated Through Hole) components, often referred to as mixed-technology assemblies.

SMT components are mounted directly onto the surface of the PCB, while PTH components are inserted through drilled holes and soldered in place.

This approach allows products to benefit from compact, high-density designs while also incorporating larger or more robust components where additional mechanical strength is needed.

We also offer hand assembly for PTH components. Hand assembly is particularly valuable for connectors, larger components, specialist parts and assemblies where precision and flexibility are important. It can also play an essential role in mixed SMT/PTH PCB builds where certain components are better suited to manual placement and soldering.
