None of us builds success entirely alone.

At yesterday’s West End Business Connect meeting, our members reflected on the people who opened doors, believed in them and helped change the direction of their business journeys.

It was a morning of genuine gratitude and recognition for the fingerprints others have left on our success, and a reminder that the best way to repay that support is to help shape someone else’s.

A quick glimpse of the room at yesterday’s The West End Business Connect meeting and the conversations taking place between the people who make the group what it is.

It was another excellent morning, with visitors joining us, new collaborations being discussed and genuine business being passed between members.

We also had the pleasure of hearing Eduardo Chavez’s outstanding extended presentation.

Plenty of energy, plenty of conversation and, most importantly, people actively supporting one another.

This morning at The West End Business Connect, Eduardo Chavez delivered an extended presentation that went far beyond simply telling us about his businesses.

Eduardo shared the remarkable story of moving from Mexico to Glasgow and building both West End Co Working Ltd and Elite Media, drawing on his extensive professional experience in Mexico while making new friends, forming new business relationships and creating fresh opportunities here in Scotland.

With his trademark warmth and humour, he proudly described himself as a “Mexwegian” a title that seems to fit him perfectly!

What made the presentation particularly special was the way Eduardo brought everything together; his professional journey, the relationships he has built in Glasgow, his philosophy on business and life, and the value he places on the people within our group.

It was personal, thoughtful, funny and genuinely inspiring. Eduardo didn’t simply present his businesses; he gave us a real insight into the man behind them and the experiences that have shaped him.

A thoroughly enjoyable, next-level presentation from someone we are extremely fortunate to have as part of The West End Business Connect.

Tomorrow morning at The West End Business Connect, we’re looking forward to hearing an extended presentation from our member, Eduardo Chavez.

Eduardo is the founder of West End Co Working Ltd, providing flexible hot-desking and multi-tenant office solutions from a fantastic location in Ruthven Lane, right in the heart of Glasgow’s West End.

He is also a Director of Elite Media Ltd Media, which provides professional photography services to the property sector, businesses and individuals across Glasgow.

Beyond the businesses themselves, Eduardo is a genuinely great guy to have in the room, warm, engaging and always generous with his support and advice. His many years of business experience bring an enormously valuable perspective to our group, and we’re very fortunate to have him as a member.

Another great meeting at The West End Business Connect yesterday, and one that really highlighted what makes this group different.

As the community continues to grow, it's encouraging to see that the focus remains firmly on relationships first. New introductions are being made, referrals are being passed, and members continue to support one another in ways that go far beyond simply exchanging business cards.

The real value often comes from people picking up the phone, making a connection, or sharing a bit of experience that helps someone else move forward.

Our discussion this week centred on trust, a word that's used often in business, but perhaps not always explored in enough depth.
