The Fear of Falling:

As some of you already know, my good friend and co-founder of Foresee Associates, John Harkin has his debut crime thriller coming out in the new year. I had the pleasure of seeing an early draft and can promise a brilliant read about cops and detectives in late 80’s Glasgow. One for fans of crime fiction and tartan noir. Highly recommended! Out on 17 January 2022. From Bloodhound Books.

A detective must break all the rules and risk everything in pursuit of truth and justice.

Available in ebook and paperback formats.

Link for paperback will go up around 2 weeks prior to publication date.

Preparing for Winter

Delighted to have had the opportunity to support Transport Scotland’s 2020 Winter Preparedness arrangements through design and delivery of a National Tabletop Exercise. The exercise facilitated by Jim Urquhart, was delivered virtually over two days and allowed stakeholders to consider their risk management processes, contingency planning arrangements as well as their capability and capacity to respond to the challenging scenarios we presented.

Martin Thomson, Head of Transport Resilience at Transport Scotland commented;

"I was again impressed by the thorough and professional approach adopted by Colin and Jim as they consulted and researched the various issues. This challenging exercise based on past events set against the backdrop of the current Pandemic restrictions was well received. The format of the day together with the technology used worked exceptionally well"

Our thanks to everyone who contributed to this very successful event and to the Transport Scotland Resilience Team and the Met Office for all their support and assistance.
