About us
Welcome to Sparkling styles, id like to tell you a little bit about myself and my business.
I am Abbie Nicholson, I have a large amount of experience within the events and hospitality industry. I have previously worked in various areas of the wedding industry. Over the years I Have studied the events industry in great detail, achieving an NQ and HNC in Events. I am currently working towards my HND in Events Management.
This business was previously known as Jak’s Flowering fancies, and was run by my mother. I worked alongside my mother within the company for many years gaining an excellent understanding of all skills required to run this type of business. I have also been fully trained in floristry throughout my time working at Jak’s Flowering Fancies.
It has sadly came to a time where my mother is no longer able to manage the business as a whole and we have came to a decision to split the company in half. I have thoroughly enjoyed creating that spectacular look for all of the customers big days, and feel that this is a job that I do not feel like I am working in as I enjoy it so much. Due my high level of understanding and commitment to this company we have came to a decision to split the company in half, Jak’s Flowering Fancies will continue to work on wedding and funeral floristry and I will be taking over the events styling part of the company. It has been decided that I will rename the events styling part of this company as Sparkling Styles to avoid any confusion. At sparkling styles my aim is to continue on with the excellent level of customer service received throughout the time my mother was in charge. I will do this by making sure each customer will be given my 100% attention when it comes to styling their event. All queries will be answered timely. I want to make sure you are satisfied with the services you receive so I am willing to tailor your package to meet your individual requirement's. No ask is too big, I will try to accommodate every idea possible.
