Second time l was well and truly done over,is a classic.
I payed for a 3 day Luxury caravan in Snowdonia,cost near £500,a week before the holiday was to start l got an email from the caravan owner saying they were going into lockdown and that we could no longer travel there.
I said fine can you return my money straight away please,the reply l got was we haven't recieved your money,its Booking.com that you need to contact,l contacted them and they said the owner had his payment and its him l should seek to get my refund.
I messaged the owner again and again no reply,still now 6 months later no refund.
Be very careful with your holiday insurance here or abroad too because they don't tell you but if your holiday is affected by Covid your not covered for anything related to the pandemic.

OK my first bad experience was recent,l ordered 3 coats from Debenhams just before they went under and were taken over,they took out the full amount as the delivering company said the parcel had been delivered,which it hadn't.
I constantly emailed them and in one reply they stated a full refund would be returned to me in 10 working days.
Never recieved it and now they have been taken over no chance of getting my £196 back.

Tomorrow l will tell everyone about my bad experience and advise how you can try to get your money back from rip off merchants.
