A password is one way of proving you’re you. Two-factor authentication (2FA) gives you another.

It means that even if someone manages to get hold of your password, that alone shouldn’t be enough to get into your hosting account.

It’s a small extra step when you log in, but a useful extra layer of protection for everything sitting behind your website.

And the bigger those files are, the more there is to download.
