At least 3 seasons in one day is making working at height, within an exposed tank incredibly difficult. If it’s not a huge downpour of rain, then it’s suncream all round (definitely for me, not so much the Spanish team) until the wind decides it’s going to go banzai and throw up a couple of cheeky 30mph + winds to keep everyone on their toes. The crane has been up and down, the MEWPs are doing the same and our company is trying to manage everyone’s expectations to ensure that safety is always the main priority. British weather is an absolute joy, 🥹 but this year in particular it’s been pretty special. 👍

Our Health, Safety and Confined Space team are working in unison to ensure that the contractors working on this project can do so efficiently, safely and within the timescales set by the client. So far it’s been a complex task with the work processes, weather and occasional language barrier causing a few problems. However the spirit of the team is high and the work progressing well. Our last event of 2025 was completed in a festive fashion at the Christmas Fireworks display hosted by Chase Lane Firework Displays & Events at De Vere Tortworth Court
A great way to finish another incredibly busy year of Health, Safety and Event Medical cover. Time to settle down for a long winters nap, before 2026 arrives.
2026 really does look exciting for us as a business, for now thank you to everyone that has worked with us, for us or has used us for their organisation. You are all so appreciated.

Another fantastic fireworks event at Gordon League RFC put on by Chase Lane Firework Displays & Events the crowd were treated to a fantastic display and it was a pleasure to be involved with the Health, Safety and Medical cover. Well done to the internal volunteer team from Gordon League who hosted the BBQ and the bar. Well done all.

It’s been a spectacular few days supporting Chase Lane Firework Displays & Events at two large events in both North Somerset and Birmingham. We have provided the Health and Safety administration and physical support throughout the planning cycle, as well as on the day of the events. From directing traffic, fixing problems and liaising with the public, the team have been incredible. We have also provided the medical cover which thankfully has not been needed or utilised. The work that goes on in the background is rarely seen by the people that attend but it is a huge undertaking. A massive thank you to JAKK Security & Facilities Management Limited who have done a fantastic job over the two events and Major Entertainment LTD for providing the miles of fencing and all the other logistics that are needed to make an event happen. We move on to the next events in what looks to be another very busy week.

The weather was really against this event at Gordon League RFC and it was touch and go throughout the day whether we would get a window for Chase Lane Fireworks to fire; but the crowds grew and the funfair was lighting up the night sky. A large storm passed through and a calm descended, the wind dropped, changed direction and at 2030 there was a strong indication the conditions would be good enough to safely undertake the display. Well done to everyone involved. Great to be providing the Health and Safety support and First Aid cover.

Another good event providing the first aid and Health and Safety cover for Chase Lane Fireworks summer event in the Forest of Dean at Speech House. Quite possibly the best fireworks I have seen.

Do you know what your pets are chewing? Try to keep any batteries, particularly Lithium Ion batteries away from chewing pets, this fire damaged a home severely but thankfully the inhabitants and the animals all escaped unharmed.

Last event of the season yesterday De Vere Tortworth Court with Chase Lane Fireworks for the Christmas Fire Works event. Very Christmassy and a spectacular display. Well done to JAKK Security & Facilities Management Limited who did a fantastic job of controlling and parking the cars. Also well done to Major Entertainment LTD for the lighting, music and snow machine. Thankfully no incidents other than a stuck car which we managed to pull out. Now to relax, have a peaceful and restful Christmas. See you in the New Year.
