14yrs today since we took the leap.

Wouldn’t be where we are if it wasn’t for support from our lads, customers, suppliers and family.
So in short you’re all personally responsible for my grey hair and wrinkles. 😜.

Lads smashing out a small landscaping job that kept on growing.
Curved retaining wall ready to have coping stones and rendered.
Steps,
Sleeper edging to lawn,
New levels set for paths and patio area with type1 compacted in place,
6’ and 5’ fencing,
Lawn and flower bed area retopsoiled and graded.
Extended parking area ready for tarmac finish.

Steel rebar tied, shuttering delivered and set and 325mm wide insitu concrete walls poured this week on this project.

A collapsing garden retaining wall to a stream had to be carefully removed and replaced with gabion baskets before the winter comes as the water level often reaches the top of the wall in height.

Few more pictures of the full process of a raft foundation.
* Oversite and foundations excavated
* 150mm of type one laid and compacted.
* 50mm of concrete blinding.
* Shuttering set out, formed and installed.
* sika tanking system supplied and installed.
* Lacing bar supplied and tied to slab and foundations.
*50m3 of water proof concrete pumped in to place and laid.

What a busy few weeks we’ve had but nice to finally start coming up out of the ground on this project.

👷‍♂️👷‍♂️🚧🚧 HERE WE GO 🚧🚧👷‍♂️👷‍♂️

I’m sure we put a job vacancy post out more often than the labour government makes a U turn but here we are again.

Due to continued growth and the inept ability to find the stray fo****in in a Jewish boarding school we find ourself seeking a couple of experienced ground workers for full time employment in the Gloucestershire area. (Although not confined to may I add.)

All the usual conditions apply:-

* If you’re still taking colostrum off your mother-DONT APPLY.
* If drink and drugs are more important to you than brushing your teeth- DONT APPLY.
* If you 23 and have 65yrs experience in everything from cooking school dinners to heart surgery-DONT APPLY.
* If you can’t get your lazy ass out of bed then stay voting for the green party and DONT APPLY.
* If you’re old, fat, lazy, ugly and stink-DONT APPLY (because I’ve filled that position already).

However let’s end this on a good note:-

DO APPLY IF-

* You have experience in Groundworks,
* You are punctual and well kept.
* You have a full uk driving licence.
* You can work as part of a close knit team and be self motivated.
* You have a uk passport or visa,
* You don’t mind working out doors.
* You have a sense of humour.
* You have relative qualifications such as cscs, cpcs, sssts, smsts, first aid at work, street works etc.
