Abit of AG spec concrete gone down this week.
Bases and floated bolt boxes set, excavated 300mm of spoil, 150mm of compacted type 1, shuttering set and 150mm of concrete poured.
Brush finish to external feed passage and groover trowel finish to cattle standing area.

Now awaiting the shed before finishing off.

Recent driveway job finally had the tarmac surface laid and batters topsoiled.

👷‍♂️🚧🚦Positions available @ SDG🚦🚧👷‍♂️

We are still currently looking for the following positions:-

* Working foremen and Experienced ground workers

All positions are full time contracts with weekly pay, company vehicle or lift provided, uniform, pension contributions,

New sites starting in Cotswolds and Ledbury.

5 days in:-
* All slop and mixed soils removed from site,
* Driveway formation excavated ,Terram lined and base layer of 6F2 layer and compacted,
* Treatment plant installed to correct levels and concrete surrounded with air vent connected,
* New inspection chambers and connections in place,
* New soakaway installed and covered,
* Storm drain repaired and connected to new soakaway,
* Old septic tank emptied, collapsed, removed off site and backfilled,
*New ducted power supply to treatment plant,
* All signed off by building control and fully operational.

🤦🏻🤷‍♂️ Well what a week this has been. 🤷‍♂️🤦🏻

We had to take over a treatment plant installation job in Minsterworth.
The previous contractor made this mess during their 2week stint.

*Ripping up the clients driveway,
*Two attempts at installing the treatment plant that was failed both times by building inspector,
*Ripped out the clients giggaclear,
*Collapsed existing septic tank before installing new system,
*Ripped out existing storm soakaway and did not replace causing the site to flood,
*Broke boundary fence and started to install new one incorrectly.

Like I always say:-
“The most expensive ground workers are the cheapest ones”.

Hard lesson learnt by a family at no fault of their own.

Managed to lay only one concrete bay and new fire escape path this year so far due to continuous heavy rain.
This along with new close board fencing and tidying up the worked area.
All part of on going works once the weather sorts its self out.

New block paved driveway installed before Christmas break along with new concrete fencing posts, gravel boards to allow client to install panels of their choice.
Aco drainage and drainage all leading to new soak away.
Sections of bullnose block paving to prevent water ingress off the road as would previously happen and channel it through new drainage.

Nice little driveway job recently completed locally.

* Excavate and cart away of existing levels to allow access of carriageway.
* Terram and 300mm of compacted type 1.
* Bullnose kerbs and Aco drainage to road front,
* Pin kerb edgings to edges of the drive and drainage pipe installed under driveway for storm water.

Now Just to wait for weather to dry up and then lay 100mm of tarmac and topsoil batters.
