The team at Keith Rhodes Machinery Installations have had a wonderful weekend at Truckfest Malvern.
Seeing lots of amazing lorries, vehicles, and friends from the industry - it's always a great weekend.

Amongst all the brilliant companies and drivers, there are also some visitors that are a little more famous than others...
This year, of all the lorries we could have stopped to allow us to reverse, was no other than Trucker Tim himself! He graciously waited, and then spent the show weekend talking to visitors and fans, including members of the KR family.

Thank you Tim for patiently speaking to everyone, showcasing your lorry, and inspiring the younger generation to join the industry.

We look forward to seeing you at the next Truckfest!

Exciting News from Keith Rhodes Machinery Installations!

We’re thrilled to have recently installed two brand-new DMG MORI DMU50 3rd Generation machines with PH150 automation systems for JK Engineering. 🏭✨ Using the KR hoist 25/35, the Fassi crane lorry, our trusty HTS skates and Enerpac jacks, the job was completed smoothly and competently.

This investment enables them to relaunch their Fast Track Service, offering rapid turnaround (1-4 weeks) for prototype builds, AOG (Aircraft on Ground) requirements, and other urgent projects.

At Keith Rhodes Machinery Installations, we pride ourselves on delivering fast, efficient installations to keep businesses moving. Even Sunday didn’t stop our team from ensuring everything was up and running smoothly!

A huge thank you to Ian and Edd for their hard work and to DMG MORI UK Ltd for meeting strict delivery deadlines—even delivering a week early!

Position: Plant Mechanic / Forklift Engineer
Company: Keith Rhodes Machinery Installations
Location: Gloucester

We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our busy workshop, supporting our fast-growing machinery installation and equipment hire operations. This role reports directly to the workshop manager.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per year (plus discretionary annual bonus)

Schedule:

50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:30

Overtime available

Immediate start preferred

Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years in forklift or plant maintenance

Flexible with a strong work ethic

Excellent standards of work, both independently and as part of a team

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Full driving license (forklift license preferred but not essential)

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain our fleet of gas forklifts (2T to 40T)

Respond to breakdowns

Assist the workshop manager with other transport maintenance as needed

Help maintain a clean and well-stocked workshop

Benefits:

Company pension

On-site parking

Increased holiday entitlement with service length

Death in service benefit

Yearly bonus

Work Location: On-site in Gloucester
