Does anybody else know what I’m talking about? 😂🐶

Dogs chewing their way through a perfectly good Barbour coat pocket because they KNOW there’s one tiny crumb of a biscuit hiding in there. 🥴

Forget the expensive coat. Forget the fact they’ve just had their dinner…

That ONE. SINGLE. BISCUIT. CRUMB. must be found at all costs. 😂

Anyone else’s dog completely destroy their lovely coat in pursuit of a snack that is basically microscopic 🐾🙄

Three last-minute enquiries today from people whose house sitters have let them down. 😬

One has now booked with me, one I couldn’t help as I was already booked, and one was rather shocked at my price.

And honestly? I get it. Everyone has a budget.

But here’s the thing… you’re not just paying for someone to sit in your house. You’re paying for someone who actually turns up. 😉

In three years, I have never cancelled a booking, walked away from a client or left anyone scrambling for alternative care. Not once.

I’m reliable. I’m committed. I turn up when I say I will — and I take the trust people place in me very seriously.

And sadly, I’ve also heard of two more local break-ins this weekend, while the homeowners were away on holiday. It’s another reminder that having someone you trust staying in your home isn’t just about looking after the pets — it’s about giving you that extra bit of reassurance while you’re away.

So yes, I have a price. And no, I’m not the cheapest.

But cheap isn’t much of a bargain when you’re left without a house sitter at the last minute. 😉

You get what you pay for — and peace of mind is worth every penny. 🏡🐶🐕🐾

A little reminder for horse riders 🐴🌳 — please consider wearing something bright or high-vis when riding on the road. Coming towards the trees on a very narrow road I couldn’t see the rider ahead at all until I was much closer. Being visible makes such a difference and helps keep both riders and drivers safe. ❤️
BTW, I did not take the photograph of my passenger did 😄

There’s something so lovely about a fresh morning walk with my girl. 🌿🐾

It’s not just exercise — it’s enrichment for both of us. Sniffing, exploring, taking in all the sights and smells… and stopping for a little breakfast of blackberries straight from the bush! 🫐😂

It’s these simple moments that make walking together so special — happy dog, fresh air, and a very grateful human. ❤️
