Did you know organic skincare uses plant ingredients grown without synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilisers or genetically modified organisms.

🌿 The fewer harsh chemicals, avoiding synthetic fragrances (aroma!) as well as synthetic ingredients

🌿 Organic ingredients have higher levels of natural antioxidants and vitamins

🌿 With eco-friendly farming, the soil health is far better, reduced water pollution supporting wildlife & biodiversity

🌿 And when it comes to strict standards, Soil Association certification enforced clear rules on what counts as organic, with brands like Neal's Yard Remedies following those strict guidelines.

It's so important to look for the Soil Association logo on organic products you are choosing to buy as "organic" ensuring they aren't simply 1% organic ingredient but 95% organic ingredients! With each swap we can make a greater impact and as I always remind you, with organic products you only need to use a small amount each time (don't overdo the pump or get scoop/spatula happy!)

Looking to try organic for the first time, to discover an organic equivalent to something you're about to run out of? I'm always happy to chat πŸ’š

With the transitioning of seasons and typically our skin thirsty from the Summer sun and craving nourishment, you'll spot a few requests of different certified organic products in this week's delivery of your orders for collection & replenishment of products for my pop-ups.

You'll also spot the all important logo; certification that a product is recognised as organic, certified by the UK's Soil Association

If there's anything that you use on your skin; whether it's facial products, bath, shower, hands, creams, or to fragrance your home and it's not currently a certified organic product, you're coming to the end of it and fancy trying an organic equivalent, I'd love to help you discover a suitable alternative to try.

Pop along to one of my pop-up locations for a chat and opportunity to sample or if you live further afield, drop me a message,

The start of another new week but feeling like "old" routines are returning as everyone gets back into the swing of things. I had so many comments on the bunch of flowers I selected at Friday's market Shambles Market, Stroud from Kay & Richard who can be found on the corner leading in from the High Street, heading towards St Laurence Church. A splash of Autumnal colour for my organic pop-ups and the stems are likely to dry out nicely for using to embellish gift bags/boxes in the coming weeks (better than just composting).

With the topsy turvey temperatures and it being the time of year where we're never quite sure what to wear, it wasn't surprising that your favourite product last week was Wild Rosehip Beauty Balm! That one pot wonder (literally) and for simplicity of skincare, a cleansing balm, intensely nourishing (I refer to it as my wind protector when out running), protecting the skin barrier and leaving the skin smooth and beautifully glowing. I also love applying it to the face whilst I soak in the bath, the warm/wet muslin cloth laid over my face, a wonderfully relaxing nourishing treat & to exfoliate after 5/10 minutes.

Many of you looking for just a facial moisturiser are beginning to discover my other favourite Wild Rosehip product, the Glow Cream. Fast-absorbing enriched with nourishing wild rosehip oil, kakadu plum extract; a potent source of vitamin C and watermelon extract increasing hydration for smooth and supple skin. I love it's luminous results too.

If you've yet to try these or to chat more about organic skincare and products, you'll find me this week at

🌿 Minchinhampton (under the market house) Wednesday 8.30am-midday

🌿 Shambles Indoor Market, Stroud, Friday 8am-3pm

Or alternatively, live further afield? Do drop me a message.

September isn't just another month, it's a BIG month for all certified organic businesses across the UK.

"Organic September" has been running in the UK since 1994, under the name Organic Harvest (or Organic Harvest Week). It officially changed its name to Organic September in 2012 to span the entire month, with the campaign today run by the Soil Association ; the UK's leading food and farming charity and organic certification body.

Organic September is a celebration of organic food, farming and sustainable living. And like every month, I'll be shining a spotlight on the benefits of organic and sharing simple ways I make organic part of my everyday life. But hopefully there'll be a bit more "noise" and visibility of certified organic across the media and retailers......

The theme of this year's campaign is about adding a little more organic to our weekly shop – trying one or two new things and making organic swaps when we can. Choosing the logo that symbolises the utmost care for body and soil; To Choose Soil Association Certified Organic.

Throughout September you'll find me out & about sampling organic products at the locations ⬆️ but for this month also if you live further afield across the UK and you've yet to try organic skincare I've "taster" boxes ready to pop in the post for a small charge.
