Thanks to Martyn in Montacute for the great review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We crown raised his eucalyptus and took off a large limb from his holm oak. We left a clean finish and took all the cuttings and waste away.

Bit breezy out there today! 🌬️

If Storm Austen leaves you with a fallen tree, a snapped branch or anything looking a bit dodgy, just drop us a message and we'll come and sort it — and take all the mess away with us.

Stay safe, and steer well clear of anything near power lines (ring 105 for those).

Big height reduction on this one in Timberscombe 🌳

The customer wanted it brought right down and tidied up, so that's what we did. The garden's lighter and more open, everything's neat and even, and all the cuttings were taken away.

Spent a couple of days at the APF Show this year, and it was well worth the trip. 🌳

It was great to catch up with other arborists and forestry professionals, swap stories and hear how others are tackling the job. I also got a proper look at the latest machinery and kit. There's some impressive equipment out there that makes the work easier and, most importantly, safer for both us and our customers.

The highlight for me was the chainsaw woodcarving. The skill and detail that goes into these pieces is incredible, and it's amazing what can be created from a single piece of timber. A few of my favourites are in the photos.

Always good to keep learning and stay up to date, so we can keep delivering a high standard of work and a tidy finish on every job.

Autumn winds are on the way.

A quick check of your trees now can save a headache later — look out for:
– Deadwood or hanging branches
– Cracks or splits in the trunk
– Leaning that's new or worsening

Any of these near a house, driveway, or path is worth getting looked at before the weather turns.

What is a TPO?

A Tree Preservation Order protects a specific tree (or group of trees) and makes it a legal offence to prune, fell, or damage it without council permission — even on your own property.

If you're not sure whether a tree on your land has one, your local council's planning department can tell you, or we can check for you.

Spot the arborist 👀🌳

High up in this ash tree in Bridgwater today. Not a job for the faint-hearted — but that's what we're here for.
