With exactly 2 weeks to go until the election we are not hearing very much from politicians about what their plans are for the social care sector.

In the attached photos we have provided each of the main parties manifestos/contracts for social care to make it easy to view each parties promises in one place.

It is estimated that by next year one million people in the UK will be living with dementia.

A dementia diagnoses doesn't just affect those diagnosed with the condition but also their friends and family.

When a diagnoses is first received it can leave people feeling alone and daunted by what is ahead.

Carers at Home is aiming to run dementia coffee mornings in Godalming and Odiham. Anyone is free to attend to learn more about dementia and what a diagnoses means for them or a loved going forward. It will also be an opportunity to meet people that are going through the same thing as you and share experiences.
