This memory popped up on my feed today. Becoming a celebrant was the best decision I ever made ( well, I'd better say the second- best, in case my husband reads this π)
Monday - introducing another of our newest funeral celebrants, Joan McLatchie Humanist Celebrant, who is based in the Falkirk area.
Joan told us, "I'm delighted to have completed all of my training, and to now be authorised for naming ceremonies, weddings and funerals. I've absolutely loved my journey so far, and believe that conducting funeral ceremonies is one of the great privileges of being a humanist celebrant.
"I see it as my role to support those who are grieving when they are at their lowest ebb, to encourage them to share their memories, and to create a ceremony which celebrates their loved oneβs life in an authentic and meaningful way. My aim is to bring some comfort among the sadness by providing a warm, sincere and loving memorial to a life well-remembered."
