We were pleased to play our part in supporting Strathcarron Hospice at last week's charity football tournament, organised by the Falkirk Foundation.
The event was a great success, bringing together teams from across the local area for an afternoon of friendly competition, teamwork and community spirit. By the fulltime whistle, they’d surpassed the fundraising target for Strathcarron Hospice, helping to support the vital care and services they provide to patients and families across our local community.
A huge thank you to the squads of players, including those from O&P UK; those who came along to support the team, and those who made a donation. Your generosity and encouragement helped make this fantastic fundraising achievement possible and demonstrated the positive impact we can make when we come together in support of an important local cause. Thank you to our colleagues, contractors and the Let’s get Grangemouth Clean team for coming together this morning to take part in a litter pick along Bo’ness Road.
It was a fantastic team effort, with everyone working together to collect litter and make the area cleaner and tidier for those who drive this route.

On behalf of the MICC (Major Incident Control Committee) we are sharing the following information -
Community Notice – Grangemouth Warning System Testing
Maintenance work on Grangemouth’s Community Warning System will take place from Monday 1 June to Wednesday 3 June 2026, with the biannual test scheduled for 7pm on Wednesday 3 June.
During this time, if you are in the vicinity of Grangemouth you may hear warning tones and voice messages from the system. This is part of routine testing and no action is required from residents or visitors.
In the unlikely event of an emergency during this period, the system will make this clear. If this happens, please follow the advice: “Go in, Stay in, Tune in.”
MICC Chair Derek Brown said that maintaining and testing the system is essential to ensure it can effectively alert the community in the event of a major incident.

We were proud to support this year’s Falkirk Science Festival, working alongside partners to bring hands on STEM activities to young people across our local area.
Our STEM Ambassadors and volunteers spent time at Forth Valley College and The Helix, helping pupils explore real world science and engineering – from wind turbines and drones to practical solar energy experiments.
Events like this are a great opportunity to show young people how science and engineering connect to the world around them. A huge thank you to everyone involved – especially our INEOS volunteers – for helping inspire the next generation here in Falkirk.

Making it add up - Why is it so important to enthuse and excite the next generation about careers in manufacturing?
Today, we welcomed a class of students from our local high school to the INEOS site in Grangemouth to see first hand how mathematics underpins the operation of a large manufacturing facility.
At the request of their teachers, the visit focused on bringing classroom theory to life. A site tour and presentation showed how maths is applied across our business every day, followed by a classroom based problem solving activity inspired by what the students had seen on site.
Connecting learning with real world application helps students understand not just why subjects like mathematics matter, but also the exciting career opportunities they can open up.
Thank you to everyone involved in organising the visit — and especially to the students for their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the session.

We were delighted to celebrate Scottish Modern Apprenticeship Week — a great opportunity to recognise the contribution apprentices have made to our business and to our industry.
Through the week, our team visited Graeme, Falkirk and St Mungo’s High Schools to meet pupils and their teachers, highlighting the opportunities a Modern Apprenticeship can offer — from hands on learning and skills development to laying the foundations for a long and rewarding career in a STEM/ Manufacturing related business. Thank you to our volunteers for sharing their experiences and to the staff and pupils for their keen interest.
