BNI Gravesend is one of the most successful business networking groups in the UK. It provides a platform for local businesses to promote themselves and become more profitable through referrals. Having been established for 21 years and with support from the world’s largest business networking organisation, attending BNI Gravesend is a smart choice for anyone looking to grow their business. The Gravesend chapter has passed over £1.8m worth of business between its members over the past in 2023 so far. There are currently over 45 members from trades to professional services. From keeping you cool to keeping the roads moving!

We had two great presentations at BNI Gravesend last week, with plenty to learn from two very different local businesses.

❄️ First up was Colin from All Weather. After the heat we’ve had this summer, it’s easy to see why Colin and his team have been so popular!
We heard more about their air conditioning and refrigeration services, helping homes and businesses stay at the right temperature throughout the year.

🚦 Next was Jenny from Oak Traffic Management, who gave us a fascinating insight into the planning and organisation involved in professional traffic management.Their team works efficiently to keep road disruption to a minimum while helping works take place safely.

Two presentations at last week's BNI Gravesend meeting, and some great stories.

Matt Avis from MA Roofing Kent went first. He took us through a few of the jobs he and the team have done over the summer, from house roofs to some big commercial projects. Seeing the before and after s shots on the bigger ones gave everyone a sense of the scale they work at.

Then Chris from Move2Clear talked about removals, house clearances and auctions. After this many years in the job, he's got stories. You never quite know what you'll find when you open the door on a clearance, and he's found plenty.

Last week at BNI Gravesend, we heard presentations from Neil Claydon of Promo Bound and Mac Cheema of Meldone Estates.

Neil shared how Promo Bound helps businesses stand out with promotional goods designed to make a genuine difference. From branded merchandise to memorable giveaways, the right products keep your business in front of the right people.

At BNI Gravesend, we recently had two member presentations which proved one thing. When you combine knowledge, experience and a great story, people listen.

Wendy from Protected Life Planning gave us far more than reasons to write a will.

She shared practical strategies to help you protect what you have worked for, leave more of your money with your family and, most importantly, think carefully about what matters when making plans for the future.

Great session at last week's Gravesend business networking meeting, with three members renewing for another year:

- Colin Richards from All Weather Refrigeration
- Mark Harrison, our carpenter and joiner
- Jemma, who manages corporate partnerships at ellenor hospice, just down the road from where we meet
