For too many young people, the gap between education and meaningful work has become a chasm, and early-career opportunities are harder to come by than they have been in a generation. We are making a practical effort to reverse this.

Since becoming a Corporate Partner of Pembroke College, University of Cambridge in 2022, we have worked closely with the collegeโ€™s Leadership, Enterprise and Adventure at Pembroke (LEAP) programme, supporting six interns across three years with real work, responsibility, and experience.

This impact works both ways: fresh perspectives, new questions, and different ways of thinking have genuinely shaped how we work. Our interns have made an impact to Cambridge Management Consulting in multiple interesting, unique, and valuable ways:

- By building and training an internal AI chatbot to answer questions from partners
- Creating a sales maturity assessment for the business
- Delivering research and analysis for the innovation programme
- Contributing to our first FTSE250 emissions-reporting study
- Producing marketing content, articles, and go-to-market pieces for startups and scaleups

This is one part of our wider impact, but it is an important one: opportunity works best when the relationship runs both ways.

Cambridge MC has now given over ยฃ1m to charity since 2015 โ€“ roughly 10% of profits each year, well above the 1% industry norm. That is just one of the highlights in our July newsletter.

Plus, our latest case study on building an AI strategy and roadmap for one of the UK's largest housebuilders, a Partner Spotlight on Cloud Transformation Consultant Matt Allcoat, and a warm welcome to our newest research and analysis hires.

AI adoption is accelerating, but for many businesses, the challenge isn't wanting to use AI, it's knowing where to focus.

In our latest Case Study, we were engaged by one of the UK's largest housebuilders to turn that ambition into action. Through stakeholder interviews and end-to-end process analysis, we identified 80+ AI opportunities across the business, then prioritised against efficiency, quality, and competitive edge to land on a focused roadmap.

The result: a credible, business-led AI strategy grounded in reality.

On VE Day, we reflect on the courage, sacrifice and resilience shown across Europe at the end of the Second World War.

It is a moment to remember those who served, those who were lost, and the values of service and solidarity that still matter today. We pause to mark the day with respect and gratitude.

To all our partners, colleagues and friends who served or whose family members fought to protect their homeland, we pause to reflect on your courage and sacrifice. Thank you.
