Synergy Grimsby CIC Synergy Grimsby CIC are community engagement specialists based in Grimsby and offer a wide range of community based services specialising in youth engagement

Synergy Grimsby CIC was formed by Stuart Hall, Sean Atkinson and Claire Wollington in 2010 to support local communities to design, develop and implement large scale community projects for young people. Our first project in 2010 was youth focused and we have kept true to our roots since then supporting over 200 young people achieve their potential by becoming self sufficient financially, emotionally and physically. Through a range of activities Synergy supports young people to experience enterprise, creative arts, modern technology, exploring natural landscapes and going wild!! We also aim to support local communities to achieve their dreams by helping them to develop their own community projects. By supporting communities to set up CIC's, CIO's, LTD by Guarantee companies and Charities and assist them in fundraising, we get groups up and running with their ideas.

As part of our National Lottery Community Fund environment project our young people have been busy creating natural habitats for insects, birds and wild animals down at our lovely allotment "Lanzalotty".
So far we've spotted 11 different varities of UK wild birds including a woodpecker feeding at our feed stations, had blue t**s, pigeons and Robins nesting, have a fox come to visit regularly and counted over 15 different insects in our wild flower area.
It's looking like the young people will have a bountiful harvest this year with peas 🫛 beans 🫘 sweetcorn 🌽 pumpkins 🎃 cabbage 🥬 cauliflower squash, tomatoes 🍅 cucumber 🥒 carrots 🥕 aubergine 🍆 peppers 🌶 and so much more all growing and being cared for.
Time for a big BBQ with lots of fresh picks to eat - better than chicken nuggets or a Maccies!!
