Happy New Year everyone! 🎉

I've been quiet on here recently as I've been so busy!

As well as helping some fabulous local businesses, I've been working on exciting projects for Zero Carbon Guildford and Surrey Climate Commission helping Surrey residents save money on their energy bills and reduce emissions. 💚

Following a 3 hour exam I gained a City & Guilds in Energy Awareness.

I've also had a lot of fun doing a charity skydive, singing at Edinburgh Fringe and a wedding in Wisley Gardens.

I'm kicking off 2025 with starting hosting Woking Small Business Network with Shynie McShyne - we are holding free networking meetings for small local businesses monthly and would love you to join us!

I still can't actually believe I won!!
I was so surprised and delighted to win the Outstanding Contribution award at the National Business Recognition Awards last night!

Massive congratulations to all the amazing finalists and winners. I had the best time celebrating with you all! 🎉

5 years ago today I officially started Jolley Consultancy having sold my previous business the week before.

It's been a fantastic 5 years getting to help over 100 small, local businesses with all sorts of aspects of their business.
Thank you so much to everyone who has used my services and recommended me over those years. It's really meant so much to me.

I've been quiet on my socials recently as I've been so busy working on exciting projects for as well as Surrey Climate Commission and looking after my regular clients of course.
I'm still here though if anyone needs any support with their business.

So recently I have been helping my husband who has decided to set up his own micro business.
He makes amazing bee houses for solitary bees to lay their eggs in but he puts a perspex sheet and then a panel over it so it can be removed to see the bees!
In the photos you can see one that he made and donated to our son's school and ours at home full of bees and their eggs!
These are mason bees but we also get leaf cutter bees using them.
It's then lovely to watch them hatching out in the spring.

He also makes bee posts and other types of bee houses both of which we have at home and are also full of bees already this year and bird boxes for blue t**s (ours in our garden has had blue t**s happily nesting in it the last 2 years).

I'm very proud of him (especially as he asked for my help to write a business plan before he started!) and looking forward to supporting him. ❤

They will all be on sale at Zero Carbon Guildford soon and on his website once it's designed.

I FINALLY made it to both a LinkedIn Local Guildford meeting and to .cafe!

I had a fun morning seeing both lovely people I've known for years and making exciting new connections!

The Hideaway is a fantastic venue as a cafe and as a meeting / event space with great views and delicious food! It was really interesting to hear more about . I will definitely be back.

Loving the new art in !
This is one of my favourite meeting places and I visit quite regularly.
I had a meeting there with Brooke from Green Mineral Marketing this week. Brooke works with businesses on their marketing message which is very important for businesses to understand and get right.
