This year for the IMechE UAS Challenge we wrote a program to automatically size our tail. It saved a lot of time in the conceptual design phase, ensuring we found the optimal solution. Raise a github issue if you have any questions / problems with it!

We have published our Image Recognition program from the IMechE UAS competition 2022 where we successfully identified the ground marker! Hopefully this will enable teams to increase their chance of success for image rec in 2023. Let us know if you have any questions : - )

We won the IMechE UAS Challenge 2022! Thank you to the IMechE UAS Challenge for organising the competition and thank you to the University of Surrey for supporting us to do the competition. It was great to meet all the teams this week and chat with people passionate about UAVs.

Second place was ANTHUS QUB - School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with Horus UPV Universitat Politècnica de València UPV in third place.
