On Friday, we wrapped up work at midday and headed to Bildeston Crown for our Christmas party. We enjoyed a delicious three-course lunch and a few drinks were shared as we celebrated the end of the year on a high note.

This week, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting James from Hadleigh High School for his work experience placement. He’s been working on copying architectural plans in 2D and has now progressed to developing them in 3D. James has shown an impressive ability to read and interpret drawings, picking things up quickly and with great attention to detail. Today, he visited one of our nearly completed sites to see the design process in action. A future architect in the making!

We marked the occasion in the office with a golf-themed cake. To help him enjoy this special occasion in style, we gifted him a new golf bag and a trip to The Belfry Hotel & Resort to play golf at a later date. A well-deserved treat for a big birthday!

💚 To mark Mental Health Awareness Week, we organised a relaxed lunchtime walk around Hadleigh. The weather turned out cooler and breezier than expected earlier in the week, but that didn't stop us. It was fantastic to see all the behind-the-scenes preparations for The Hadleigh Show on Saturday - there’s definitely an exciting buzz in town. It was a nice chance to get some steps in and enjoy a conversation that wasn’t about work.
