I’m delighted to announce that Bit Wiser is now an official stockist of both Stübben and Dy’on! 🎉
As many of you know, I’m passionate about looking at the horse as a whole. Whilst finding the right bit is incredibly important, the bridle plays an equally significant role in comfort, communication and performance.
Both the Stübben Freedom Bridle and Dy’on X-Fit Bridle have been designed with equine anatomy and biomechanics in mind. Their innovative designs aim to reduce pressure on sensitive areas of the horse’s head, helping to avoid key nerve pathways and allowing the horse greater comfort and freedom of movement.
The right bit and a correctly fitted bridle should work together as a team. When both are selected with the individual horse in mind, pressure can be distributed more appropriately, allowing the horse to relax through the jaw, accept the contact more confidently and move more freely through the body.
As a bitting consultant, I regularly see how improving comfort can positively influence the whole horse. The connection between bit, bridle and biomechanics is closely linked, and I’m excited to now be able to offer guidance on both bitting and anatomical bridle fitting to help horses work with greater comfort, clarity and confidence.
