We will support you and your organisation with all of the key activities involved with employing individuals. Are there employees who are taking more time off sick than is reasonable? Are you concerned about the performance or behaviours of an employee? Be it a disciplinary, or sickness management case, handling a grievance or performance issue, Acorn Support will assist with ensuring the right ac

tions are in place. How robust are your contracts of employment and policies to support the needs of your business? Do you review your policies on a regular basis? If not, we can provide a review for you. Getting employment law wrong can be very costly and time-consuming taking you away from your core business. You probably don’t need a full time HR manager but you do need the occasional guidance – the Acorn Support team provide that solution. We focus on your needs, based on your business and your employees to achieve the outcome you require. We don't have a standard approach, as what works for one business may not work for yours.

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day. Time for reflection.

We all have mental health which has highs and lows, light or darker times. Reach out and check in on your people. Ask, genuinely ask, how people are feeling. Dont be afraid to ask, or comment you have noticed a difference in how someone is being.

-Support we are all mental health first aiders who support many of our peers and colleagues at clients. Claire Lawton is also su***de awareness trained to provide a deeper understanding and support.
