Tuesday 22 September at The Cut, Halesworth - 2.00pm to 4.00pm

✂️ Following the summer break we would like to welcome you back to the Repair Café, where this month we will have repairers for small electrical items, general gluing and fixing, necklace restringing and jewellery advice, clock repairs and advice, tool sharpening, sewing, and sewing machine repairs.

🪛 Tell your friends, and come and see what we're about! It's an opportunity to meet and chat to our amazing repairers whilst learning a bit about how to fix things or simply about how your "thing" works!

🗑️ So before throwing something away, why not see first if it can be fixed: saving you money, saving your "thing" from landfill...and of course helping to save the planet too! It’s free, with donations welcome (only if able) to help cover costs.

🔍 Sadly, our computer wizard has decided he's no longer able to attend as he feel's he's never quite busy enough to come especially all the way from Loddon. But we’re always on the lookout for new repairers/skills, so do get in touch if you think you have something to offer?

While you're there remember you can also have coffee and cake from the amazing Cut Café too ☕🍰

I've signed the Repair and Reuse Declaration.

The UK is the second-highest producer of electronic waste per person in the world.

Too many of us are stuck throwing away and rebuying electronics because they're not built to last.

Repair and reuse should be easy and affordable.

It's better for our wallets, better for the planet, and it can create thousands of green jobs.

Don’t dump it – fix it. 🔧

Instead of resorting to fly tipping, why not head to your local repair café or reuse shop and see if your waste can be useful?

Not only are you supporting your community, but you’re also caring for the environment and maintaining the beauty of our district.

There’s really no excuse for fly tipping. 🚫

✂️ This month we have repairers for everything! So bring along tools for sharpening, sewing machines for fixing/advice, broken things that need gluing or "fiddling with", electricals, sewing, darning (darning will finish at 3.10pm), clocks, necklace re-stringing and jewellery advice and computer advice. We are also able to do PAT testing – what a fantastic group of repairers we have! 😍
