Tuesday 28 April at The Cut, Halesworth - 2.00pm to 4.00pm

✂️ This month we have repairers for electrical, clocks, general gluing and fixing, laptop/mobile phone advice, darning (only until 3.00pm), and sewing. No sewing machine repairs or tool sharpening this time month, unfortunately, or jewellery advice.

🗑️ Nevertheless, before tossing it, see if it can be fixed: saving you money, saving your "thing" from landfill...and helping to save the planet too! It’s free, with donations welcome (only if able) to help cover costs.

🪛 Tell your friends, and come and see what we're about! It's an opportunity to meet and chat to our amazing repairers whilst learning a bit about how to fix things or simply about how your "thing" works! And we’re always on the lookout for new repairers/skills, so do get in touch if you think you have something to offer?

While you're there remember you can also have coffee and cake from the amazing Cut Café too ☕🍰

Tuesday 24 February at The Cut, Halesworth - 2.00pm to 4.00pm

✂️ This month we have repairers for everything! So bring along tools for sharpening, sewing machines for fixing/advice, broken things that need gluing or "fiddling with", electricals, sewing, darning (darning will finish at 3.10pm), clocks, necklace re-stringing and jewellery advice and computer advice. We are also able to do PAT testing – what a fantastic group of repairers we have! 😍

🗑️ So before tossing it, see if it can be fixed: saving you money, saving your "thing" from landfill...and helping to save the planet too! It’s free, with donations welcome (only if able) to help cover costs.

✂️This month we have repairers for electrical, sewing, gluing and fixing, sewing machine repairs/advice, tool sharpening, as well as computer advice and clocks (although no darning or necklace restringing/jewellery this month).

🧸As we're on a a Saturday this month, if children want to look out dolls, toys, clothes that need fixing we'd encourage them to come along and see how it all works...

🪛 So bring along your items for repair - it’s free, with donations welcome (only if able) to help cover costs. It's an opportunity to meet and chat to the amazing repairers whilst learning a bit about how to fix things/how your "thing" works, all in a friendly environment. You can also enjoy some of the lovely drinks and cakes/snacks available from The Cut cáfe ☕️🍰

This is our final meet this year. But don’t worry we’ll be back in the new year on Tuesday 27 January for any post-Christmas presents/breakages that need fixing! 😊

✂️ This month we have repairers for electrical (but only one electrician this month, so there might be a queue), sewing, darning, gluing and fixing, sewing machine repairs, tool sharpening, as well as computer advice and clocks (although no necklace restringing this time).

Humans… if cats have nine lives, why shouldn’t your electricals? 😺

Over 3,700 people have already joined the repair movement through our funded pilots - and now there are 700 repair points on our Locator to help bring your gadgets back to life. 💚

So this , fix it, don’t ditch it! 💪

And remember, my furless friends - if you can’t repair, sell or donate it, never bin it. Anything with a plug, battery or cable can be recycled.

Beautiful St Marys Church will be offering a whole host od activities on Saturday 13th - Exhibitions: Art and photography displays from Bungay High School and Halesworth Camera Club;‘Bee-keeping at Halesworth Area School in the 1950s’; a miscellany of local images. Tower bell ringers offering bell-ringing and teaching sessions and trips up the tower. Halesworth Repair Café dealing with electrical items, sewing machines and blade sharpening. Talk by Keith Noakes entitled ‘The A Bee C of Beekeeping’ and illustrated with the aid of a replica beehive. Talk by Alan Greening, the church architect, entitled ‘Historic Buildings of Halesworth’.
And, on Sunday 14th - Tour of St Mary’s Church, including its stained glass and heraldry, by Dee Scotcher and Keith Noakes.

NEW Repair Cafe is coming to Lowestoft this week 👀👌
A group of Lowestoft-based volunteers have launched a free repair service for their community covering domestic items such as small electricals, toys, clothing and knitwear, computers, gluing jobs and much more. ♻
📅 First session: Thursday, 10 July 2025, 14:00-17:00 (after that, every 2nd Thursday of the month; same time, same place)
