Thank you to everyone that came through, viewed, or sat and took part in yesterday's sale with us, plus obviously those people bidding and viewing online!
A few surprises here and there, a few misses, a few hits, but still another good day for our vendors/sellers and the team. The two attached results on rings really stand out for me as highlights, lot 17, the Tourmaline at £3,000, and lot 87, the diamond at £2,600 - great results for the two local families that consigned them, and another rubber stamp and endorsement of our position as one of the very best auctioneers for jewellery in West Yorkshire and the wider region.
Next Sale for us will be towards the end of the month, on Sunday October 25th, and we'll be accepting goods or items for that catalogue sale from the end of this week. Please also remember that as we don't charge "lotting-up" or "entry fees" and apply a standard sale commission of just 12.5%+VAT, we remain the best value auction house for selling with in our region, and further afield one of the most competitive in the whole of Yorkshire and Lancashire. Collections from this last auction, in person, from this last sale, commence from Tuesday 10am at our Halifax town centre saleroom, plus we'll be starting to parcel up and ship from tomorrow too. Finally, any lots that were 'passed' yesterday due to not reaching reserves, will be able to be offered upon and bids made against this week too, so do get in touch if you're interested!
