Installed just in time for this evenings tractor parade and tomorrow’s market trial 🎄

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all well and looking forward to the Christmas build up?

You may remember last year we sourced some small Christmas trees and placed them in the flag holders along the high street.
I’m pleased to say that we have managed to secure them again this year (securing 3ft trees is actually harder than you would think!)

So I’m once again appealing for sponsors! Each tree costs £25, they will be lit (Ripponden Parish Council have loaned us the lights) and each sponsor will be given a mention in our social media posts.
These were really well received last year and made the village centre look amazing.

If you would like to sponsor one (or more) trees then please let me know.

Coronation ready! 👑

The first of the flags have been installed ahead of the weekend celebrations. 🇬🇧

The flags, funded by the EU’s Welcome Back to the High Street Fund and also supported by Ripponden Parish Council, were printed locally by Briggs Priestley Ltd and there are several messages that will appear throughout the year.

Hopefully these will brighten up the high street when all 32 are installed.
There will be the opportunity to sponsor the Christmas message later in the year that will sit alongside the Christmas trees that we installed last year.
But for now enjoy the Union Jacks and Royal Standards and have a great weekend!

Spreading a little Christmas cheer! 🎄✨

Thank to you all the local businesses that contributed and helped us to spread a little Christmas cheer through the village this year.
If you haven’t already seen them there is a trail of mini Christmas trees lit and twinkling on the front of several buildings through the village.

A huge thank you to Ripponden Parish Council for supplying the lights and batteries and assisting with the installation.

Our last Business Network Meeting of 2022 is next Wednesday! 🎉

9am, Wednesday 30th November @ Wild Goose Ripponden ☕️

If you have a business on our high street, associated with Ripponden or even from home this meeting is for you. It is completely free and our friendly chilled atmosphere is a great place for networking.
