As we mentioned before, August has several 'months' running including Courtesy Month. A video call earlier today brought one aspect of courtesy into start relief and that is to turn your phone off when on a live streamed meeting. Not only did we have the joys of someone's notifications sounding but also a call came through.

Most people only update their cv when they are actively seeking a new job. However, it is always worth keeping your cv up to date as you never know when someone will ask for one.

It's also worth having more than one cv. But we'll talk more about that on another occasion...

Today's post celebrates .

National Radio Day recognises the invention of the radio.

Several inventors contributed to the invention of the radio in the late 1800s. Heinrich Hertz’s research proved electricity could be transmitted wirelessly. Nikola Tesla provided the radio with the Tesla coil. However, when it comes to the first commercially available wireless, Guglielmo Marconi receives the honour.
