🔥 THAT’S A WRAP! 🔥

After lots of digging, hardcore, mixing, measuring, block work, stonework, and all the other jobs in between 😅

The big one in Haltwhistle is finally finished! 👌⚒️

Just the name stone to be made for the centre of the millstone in the pathway and this one is officially done!

What a job this has been from start to finish. 💪

Every bit of stone and all the flags used throughout have been reclaimed and reused from the site, giving the whole job a proper bit of character. The wall tops were brought in to finish it off.

A serious amount of graft has gone into this one, but what a result! 👌

One hell of a job and one I’ve absolutely loved bringing together from start to finish. ⚒️🧱

Another section taking shape 👌⚒️

The new stone steps are now in, with the wall returns built up either side and the main wall runs tying everything together. The reclaimed stone and flags gives the whole area a proper traditional look, while the steps create a really smart finish and make the change in levels work perfectly!

Still a few capping stones to go, along with a couple more walls and pointing, but this section is really starting to come together now. 💪

The home straight is in sight! 👌⚒️

3 MILLSTONE FEATURES… ALL ON ONE JOB! 🪨🔥

Two built into the walls and one set into the pathway — definitely making this job stand out!

Steps are well underway, more walls still to build up, but we’re firmly on the home stretch now 💪

Garden Wall Progress 🌿

It’s really starting to take shape now! 🙌

We’ve got some of the steps built into the first wall, and all that’s left there is to get the top finished off once we’ve decided on the final height.

The second wall should be at the same stage by tomorrow evening, then it’s time to start on the wall returns and two big sets of steps — one leading up to the walls and another built into the centre of the wall, giving access to both levels of the garden.

Lots still to do, but it’s great to finally see the design coming together

Already loving the features we’re putting into this one, using some beautiful stone to really bring it to life.

Can’t wait to see how it’s looking by Friday — it’s going to be a belter!
