Yesterday, we held another FREE in-house Use of Force Training Day for our team here at Prestige! 💪

From our experienced Response Teams to some of our newest recruits, it was fantastic to see everyone coming together, getting stuck in, learning new skills and developing their confidence.

Throughout the day, our team covered:

⚖️ Laws & Legislation
🔗 Handcuffing Techniques
🚨 Practical Scenarios & Decision Making
🛡️ Personal Safety & Professional Development

At Prestige, we firmly believe that training should never stop, regardless of how experienced you are. Even our most experienced team members walked away having learnt something new, and that’s exactly what we want to see!

As a company, we’re incredibly proud to offer these training opportunities completely FREE to our teams.

Why? Because we believe that if we expect our teams to operate safely, professionally and confidently in challenging situations, then it’s our responsibility to invest in their development.

As our operations continue to grow, so does the need to ensure our Response Teams can deploy effectively whatever the terrain, whatever the conditions… So we’ve invested in something with a little more all-terrain capability. 👀

⚔️ DAY ONE — BATTLE THROUGH HISTORY! ⚔️

We’re on site and operational for the first day of Battles Through History, and with an event like this, we thought it was only right that we took upgrading our security uniform and PPE very seriously… 😂

Apparently hi-vis and radios weren’t quite enough.

🛡️ New head protection? Sorted.
🪶 High-visibility plume? Absolutely essential.
🚀 Response equipment? Slightly upgraded…
😂 Risk assessment? We’ll get back to you on that one.

All jokes aside, the team are out across the event providing security and keeping everyone safe while enjoying some of the historical displays along the way.

If you spot one of our Response Officers, don’t worry… we promise the equipment in the photos isn’t standard issue! 😂

⚔️ BATTLE THROUGH HISTORY, WE’RE READY! ⚔️

Prestige has officially landed at the Ardingly South Of England Showground ahead of Battles Through History this weekend!

Our Mobile Control Centre is set up and operational, supported by our response and support vehicles, ready to provide the central hub for our security operation throughout the event.

Over the coming days, our team will be working across the showground helping to keep visitors, exhibitors, staff and everyone involved in the event safe and secure.

A fantastic venue, an impressive event and another big deployment for Team Prestige.

We had a fantastic day yesterday at Plumpton Racecourse, where Prestige Security were proud to be event sponsors alongside deploying our team to support the day.

It was also a special occasion for our team, as we celebrated Chris & James’ 5th wedding anniversary, as well as James’ birthday, making it a day of double celebration. 🎉

This was our first event supporting Plumpton Racecourse, and we’re delighted to have started what we hope will be a long-standing relationship. 🏇🏼

We want to shine a light on some of the incredible work members of the Prestige team have been doing alongside Saving Childrens Futures

Outside of their day-to-day roles, members of our team voluntarily give up their own time to support SCF’s work helping safeguard children and identify individuals suspected of wrongful acts against children.

And that commitment goes far beyond giving up a few hours.

🚗 Miles and miles travelled across the country.
⏱️ Hours spent waiting for police support and attendance.
👮 Supporting the process of handing matters and evidence over to the appropriate authorities.
🐝 All while giving their time VOLUNTARY

The map says a lot. Behind every journey are hours on the road, time away from home and a team committed to helping protect children.

Due to the continued growth of our business, we’re going bigger! This means our current mobile Security Control Centre is up for sale (after the first week in October)

A fantastic, professional-looking unit that has served us well and would be ideal as a security control centre, event command unit, mobile office, site office, hospitality unit or promotional trailer.
