This is one of the prime reasons you need to make an appointment to view the yard and the slabs we have. A sample isn't a mini version of the slab, it's a snapshot of part of it.

Most stones (apart from ones that have a solid colour only) have lots of veining and patterns that the sample do not show. What you think initially is a simple and plain design might actually turn out to be a very intricate and detailed pattern.
