Earning B-Corporation certification is not a one-person job. Our founder Christine explains who really made it happen.

B Corp certification looks at every corner of a business, and getting there takes a genuinely skilled team effort. As Christine shares in this video, it brought our whole team together, everyone looking at how we work and how we can do better.

The best executive support isn't a choice between human and AI. It's knowing exactly which work belongs to each.

AI is superb at the repeatable, pattern-based work: planning meetings across time zones, turning an hour-long call into a one-page summary, drafting a board document, researching a prospect before you walk in. All done in minutes. But some things only a person can do. Noticing a team member was quiet in a meeting and checking in. Knowing which email deserves your personal reply and which can wait. Holding a sensitive conversation in a way that keeps the relationship intact. AI drafts to standard rules; it doesn't know a client has had a rough quarter, and nobody is accountable when it gets something wrong. That's why the human stays in the loop, even if only to review.

Most EA specs still ask for the same things as last year: diary and inbox management, travel, being part of the executive team. All still true. But leaders now expect one more thing, and the numbers show it clearly. Robert Half found that 64% of hiring managers are looking for AI skills, and 87% of C-suite leaders rate AI knowledge among the most important. For now it's described as a strong advantage rather than a must-have, but a new direction is obvious to those in the industry.

What's the catch? Anyone can say they use AI. What actually matters is how they use it, and just as importantly, what they know not to use it for. The best assistants use AI to speed up the routine work, first drafts, meeting summaries, research, then apply human judgement to everything that counts.
