HOW MUCH IS YOUR INTEGRITY WORTH?

I believe integrity is a cornerstone of trust and respect in any business.
Recently, I had an experience that made me reflect on its true value.
I subscribed to a local women's group through a publication, hoping to participate in their monthly events.

However, I soon realised that these events always fell on the same day I had hospital treatments, which occur every three weeks. I sent an email to cancel my subscription.
A few days later, she responded, confirming she would cancel.

Surprisingly, I was notified that a payment would be taken out.
I wrote to her again, but there was no response.
I wrote again, but there was still no response.
Eventually, the payment was taken.
After repeated attempts, they finally responded, claiming they were waiting for my feedback, which they supposedly had requested in an email I never received.
I resent their original email confirming the cancellation.
She ignored it.
I wrote again.
She then claimed it was a twelve-month commitment, contradicting their website, which clearly stated, "could cancel at any time".
Despite my respectful explanations and pointing out this inconsistency, she remained silent.
I wrote again and shared that I don't waste money in my business, especially because it exists to generate revenue for charities I want to support as part of my legacy as I live with metastatic cancer.
She did not respond.
In the end, she kept the money.
Her integrity was worth £25.00.

I choose not to disclose her name here.
She has chosen the value of her integrity.
It was £25.00
However, I will never support this business again.

As professionals, we must hold ourselves to the highest standards, not just for our own sake but for the legacy we leave behind.

👨‍🎓 I WAS AT A CONFERENCE THIS WEEK, AND A PROFESSOR SAID TO ME:
"Give me an example of your work.."

👩 Simple question!
WHAT DO YOU WANT?
A question I ask all of my clients?
Ya-De-Ya no surprises there
And then I ask, Why?
It's slightly more triggering, but usually, my clients can respond quickly enough—maybe with a bit of prompting, but we get there easily.
BUT then I ask:

AND WHY DO YOU DESERVE THAT? 👩‍💻
Can you hear the crickets?
I get that look a toddler gives you when you remove their lolly.

I can hear them thinking, and often the response is:
Well, what do you mean?
And I smile because I know this is going to be hugely beneficial for them:
"Exactly, what the sentence says..."
Why do you deserve this outcome?
Now I have my box of neuro tricks to get the brain working and the mind thinking.

Creating fancy charts/goals/journals blah blah outlining WHAT you want is easy.
It is easy to create a mantra about WHY you want it. (Sometimes, we work on that, too.)

But the word deserve uncovers so many thought processes we are unaware of.
And these patterns of thoughts manifest in our daily behaviours.
I am really bloody brilliant at mapping out those behaviours when you can't see them and are not aware you are doing them.

And that's the magic point of deep change. 🧠
Where we re-pattern the brain, which changes the behaviour and influences the mind.

Very quickly, the client tells me
WHAT they want,
WHY they want it, and why they
100% DESERVE it.
💛 AND I LOVE THAT POINT OF CHANGE.
IT NEVER GETS BORING FOR ME.
Then, and only then, we create the plan.
AND. THEY. DON'T. FAIL.
Because their brain is positively influencing the mind to support them.

👨‍🎓 So, I told the professor that this was a small part of my work.
He smiled.
Drank his tea
And said:
"Well, that sounds exciting."

💁‍♀️ I smiled back
Drank my coffee
And said:
"More than you can imagine".

🙄 APOLOGIES FOR CROAKY VOICE

I said I would start these Case Studies, so here is my first one.
I will (try) do one a week to showcase how I worked with them and, if relevant, the service we used.
💁‍♀️ So, today, we start with Mark.
A successful Managing Director.
I wanted to share Mark's story because it highlights that sometimes you must be very flexible in delivering a service to a client.
It is about meeting their needs and delivering what they want - which are not always the same.
My approach had to be fluid and flexible.

I joked once to some young entrepreneurs that I had entered all the meetings with the viewpoint that I knew nothing.

It forces me to listen.

To listen to what is and what isn't being said.
It prepares me to expect the unexpected.

Time to refocus my socials and add more value for my followers and connections.
I have been busy beta testing a programme, which has kept me busy. It has been rewarding but also very tough.

It is. However, my goal to provide helpful content to help business owners realise that they are walking miracles and that even with the most basic understanding of their brain, they will be inspired by their infinite potential.
