An afternoon of cutting out some new iron on labels for .co how cute do these ones look!? Loving the little Stag sat in front of a Mountains. We are all about those nature scenes.

•Let's talk Collaboration•

We are big (HUGE) believers that we are all in this crazy world of small businesses together. Without other like minded brands that we've met along the way, we genuinley don't think we'd be where we are today. From joint giveaways, discussing processes, getting feedback, and sharing contacts; our small business friends have helped us grow into the brand we are today. This is why we wanted to start Moon Child Studio; to help other small businesses along their way!

Our top tips: Be your authentic self, be original, be approachable, trust that not everyone is out to steal your ideas, work together, be kind, support your fellow small shops. Some of our best customers were once small shop friends!

Here's a challenge for you for the week: Do you have a shop in mind that you'd love to work with, for a competition giveaway, or a product idea? Send them a message and get the conversation started. The worst thing they will do is say 'no'. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there!

We recently collaborated with the AMAZING with our Summer Subscription Box over at who included this beautiful Summer Solstace Bath Shot. We knew that our customers would love their products, and we wanted to share the small shop love. We always collaborate with 2 small shops with our Subscription Boxes because it's fun to discover new brands! If self care and beautiful natural products are your kind of thing, give them a follow!

How exciting... Our little business that we only started since lock down has been listed as a Trusted Partner on the Website, and they've even written up a blog post about us! *Does a happy dance!* Yay!

Sophie talks about our recent collaboration with Corrie from Saffie Bea and how it came about. Some of you may know but Corrie and I have been friends for 15 years - We met at Art College and have been friends every since. Corrie even came to 'intern' for me for a week whilst I was working on my Graduate Collection at University for Graduate Fashion Week! She has always been the most hard working and dedicated person I know so it's no surprise that Saffie Bea is now her full time job. We started our businesses at similar times and so it's always felt natural to collaborate and support eachother along the way. Corrie's and Sophie's styles work so beautifully together.

If you haven't heard of Saffie Bea yet, make sure to check them out. They are an eco-friendly homewear company specialising in luxe plastic-free home fragrances and artisinal handmade soaps. Best known for their bold and colourful wax melts, we are pretty obsessed with everything that Corrie creates!

We are so in love with this logo that Soph worked on for the lovely Zoe Jessie Crystals. As crystal obsessed addicts ourselves, it was a treat to work with such a lovely brand with some really beautiful aesthetics.

Zoe Jessie Crystals offer a Crystal Healing service based in Liverpool, and also have a beautiful range of crystals on their website.

Zoe's first experience into the crystal world was when she experienced heartache; her Mum immediately took her to the local crystal shop even though Zoe always thought she was mad for believing in that kind thing. Ever since that first visit, she was hooked. She explains how from an outside perspective it all seems a bit bizarre, but once you get to know your crystals, you'll see how much comfort they bring to your life. She says: "you will never learn everything - there's just too much to know! But that's why its so exciting." And we couldn't agree more!

The sweetest little iron on clothing labels that we produced a little while ago for the wonderful who produce beautiful handmade printed clothing for Little Ones, inspired by Woodlands and Nature.

These labels are custom printed and totally easy to use. Simply peel off the backing, and iron on with a protected layer of greaseproof paper!

Fancy ordering some to test out on your clothing? We can either create a totally new design for you, or use your current logo and design. We can even print onto cotton tape if this is what you're after!

Happy Monday, Everyone!

We've seen so many lovely businesses pop up over the lock down period. We've noticed that our small online shop friends have been expanding as they have been busier than ever.

We are so grateful that our little business at has been busier than ever and we've even had to close shop twice to catch up on orders. We've been so lucky that we've had a chance to launch Moon Child Studio as it's something that we have wanted to do for over a year now. We've already worked with some amazing brands, and it's been so lovely getting to know some new people.

The lovely Kelly from My Happy Home Creations asked us to create her a little postage tote bag recently with her logo on and we're so happy with how it's turned out.

Hello lovelies! We are sorry for our radio silence, we have been busy away working on catching up orders for whilst working on some very exciting new Surface Print and Logo Refreshes for you guys.

We hope everyone is well and keeping busy. We created this custom tee for one of our lovely customers this week, and we can't help but think how relevent it is right now!

Working in our PJ's and not getting dressed until 2pm is becoming the norm right now but strangely, it's making us more productive, who would have thought it!

Happy Sunday everyone! We hope that everyone has been enjoying the sunshine this Bank Holiday Weekend and enjoyed a glass of fizz in the garden.

Has anyone had a chance to check out the new logo from that we worked on? Clare came to us with a really clear idea of what she was after; a magical tree, with a girl with statement peach hair. We think it sums up her lovely brand perfectly.

Let's talking... Talky Stories!
One of Instagram's most feared activities; Talking face on to the Camera, to engage with your audience.

Why are Talking Stories important? Because customers love seeing the face behind their favourite brand. If a customer feels that they can connect with you on a personal level, they will buy into your brand and be more likely to support you, which will result in sales. We're not saying fake it... Just be YOU and the rest will come.

If you'd have asked me a year ago to do a Talking Story I'd have straight up refused. The fear of messing up and being judged behind a screen is real. It was my therapist who pushed me into doing it and I will be forever thankful for this because it has helped grow from strength to strength.

Here are some of my top tips to NAIL Talking Stories. And I'm going to set you all a challenge to do one this week. Just say 'Hello', and introduce yourself as your face behind your brand. Make sure to tag us so that we can see!

• To get yourself feeling less tense, do a silly dance and pull some funny faces in the mirror just before you pop on screen.

• Look directly into your camera lens so that your audience can see that you are talking directly to them.

• Use the hands-free feature on your stories and sit BACK from your screen - your shoulders should be visable on the video. If your face is filling up most of the screen, you are too close and it's a little invasive to your viewer.

• If you're feeling nervous, use props to help you and your audience focus on something. Maybe talk about a new product, or bring a pet into the shot.

• Q+A's are great if you don't know what to talk about. Let your audience ask you questions so that they feel involved, and you can feel confideng that you are talking about things that Interest them.

• Try to remember to caption your clips - Some viewers will be viewing as they are watching TV so you don't want them to miss what you're saying (note to self: this is something I need to remember to do)
