Become a Family Time Supervisor and make a difference to a child's life

Our part time child contact supervisors to oversee family time spent between a child and a parent who they currently are not living with.

The children we work with may be living with a parent, an extended family member or foster carers.

This role can work well alongside other part time work or semi retirement. These roles are zero hour employed bank positions. You do get to choose which work to accept, but we cannot guarantee minimum hours each week as the role is demand driven by family needs

However, regular weekly availability is ESSENTIAL to cover sessions as in time you may be allocated regular families and their family time contact sessions can be weekly.

We need people with weekday and/ or weekend availability.
All our team regularly work at both our contact centres In Eastbourne and Hastings as well as the local community, so you must be willing to do travel

It is essential to be a car owner and flexible to travel to where sessions takes place as well as undertake child transport, when required, to and from child contact sessions. Travel time and mileage is paid for community-based sessions and working at the contact centre furthest from your home, but not for work in the closest centre to where you live.

Experienced working with families is essential

Excellent written and spoken English and own a computer as report writing is required
Salary £14-£16 ph based on day of week worked. These are employed roles.

Weekend family time supervisors wanted in our Colchester child contact centre

This flexible role is ideal for someone experienced at working with families who is looking to take on some weekend working and bring their skills to help children spend time with a relative.

Candidates must be able to undertake a few sessions each week on a Saturday and/or Sunday when needed as a family is allocated to them. It is not necessary to work both Saturday and Sunday, if you prefer not to, but you must be able to commit to covering some family sessions weekly, as needed.

Due to the demand driven nature of our work, all roles are zero-hour bank contracts, as we cannot guarantee minimum hours, but once a family is allocated to a supervisor the sessions often last for many months

The children we work with may be living with a parent, an extended family member or foster carers. Family time provide parents with the opportunity to spend quality time with their children who are not living with them, in a neutral space.

A Child Contact Supervisor oversees these sessions in our child contact centre in Colchesterand within the Essex community, ensuring that the environment remains positive and safe for the children.

Some of the work will be community based, so owning a car is essential and being willing to undertake child transport to and from contact sessions when required.

These are employed positions . Earn between £14-16 per hour based on the day of the week worked. Saturdays £15ph and Sundays £16ph

This role requires an Enhanced DBS, if you do not have one you will need to commit to paying for one if successful. Report writing is required, so applicants must own a computer with MS Word.

We are recruiting child contact supervisors in the Bury St Edmunds area. Do you have a background working with families and children and looking for a flexible part time and rewarding position making a difference to families lives ?

As a Child Contact Supervisor you need to be able to cover family time sessions each week, when needed, including some sessions on either Saturday or Sunday.

This flexible role is ideal to run alongside semi retirement or other part time work.

Due to the demand driven nature of our work, these are zero hour bank roles with no minimum weekly hours guaranteed. It is essential to be able to cover weekly sessions (typical 2-3hrs a session) when needed though as families are allocated to a contact supervisor and sessions often run over many months.

We are recruiting in Norfolk ! Do you have a background working with families and/or children and looking for a flexible role to fit in around other part time work, semi retirement or other commitments?

We are looking for part time child contact supervisors in Norwich and Family Support Workers across the county.

You will undertake extensive training and be either supervising family time sessions between a parent and child not currently living together or working within family support / child welfare monitoring. The children we work with may be living with a parent, an extended family member or foster carers.

All our team need to flexible with regards to travelling to where support is needed, so must own a car and a computer for report writing. Travel time and mileage is payable for all community work.

All roles are zero-hour bank contracts, as we cannot guarantee minimum hours due to the demand driven nature of our work which varies on a case-by-case basis according to needs of the families or the assessment, so days and hours of work can change week by week so gives a great work/life balance.
