It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closure of Dark Mother and this chapter in my life.
Dark Mother began when I was asked to manage Though our paths eventually diverged, that moment lit the spark that inspired everything that followed, and for that, I’ll always be grateful.
I started this at a time in my life when I had the capacity and passion to help diversify the grassroots metal community in even the tiniest way, by supporting exceptional bands as they developed their careers. The roster quickly grew, and it has been a huge privilege to work with such awesome artists. There have been so many highs, and friendships with real depth have been built along the way.
When you start something like this alongside a full-time job, you hope that one day there might be a more even divide of your time. But the truth is, my career is now blossoming in unexpected places, and my heart truly wants to follow that path.
