What have my bees been feeding on ?
Every year I send samples of my honey, which I take directly from the comb, to the National Honey Monitoring Scheme. The NHMS analyse the pollen in my honey by using DNA sequencing. Here are my results from 2022. For more information see https://honey-monitoring.ac.uk/

Asian hornets are a big threat to Honey Bees. If you see one please report it. It is crucial you report any possible sightings so experts can take quick and effective action to eradicate Asian hornets. Rye Farmers Market every two weeks on a Wednesday. I will be there this Wednesday 15th November.
Brede Farmers Market every two weeks on a Friday. I will be there this Friday 17th November.
Icklesham Local Produce Market, Once a month on a Saturday. Next market Saturday 9th December.

Welcome to my page for Brede Valley Honey.
I produce honey from my hives in East Sussex and sell my honey either at the gate or at local farmers' markets around the area.
My honey is collected straight from the hive and only subjected to filtering.
