C. (let's protect the name of the accused :) ) gave me a smile that seemed to hide the anger and disgust she had for people like me.

There I was, thinking I was going to help someone change their life.

There I was, donating books, including classics by Jay Abraham, Micheal E. Garber, Frank Bettger, and Dan Kennedy - completely free!

And foolishly assuming that my "act of kindness" would be appreciated, because someone may have a vision but not the knowledge to make it a reality. And maybe, one of those books would make a difference.

But no.

The books, and I are self-centred people. (Books are people too! :D )

Anyway, this got me thinking. Why do people think making money and improving your life makes you a bad person?
