Lady came in for ear wax removal. Once we started the removal it revealed a foreign body in her ear. Possibly the end of an earing she had lost. Unfortunately off to hospital to have it removed.

NATIONAL AUDIOLOGY AWARENESS MONTH!

October is National Audiology Awareness Month, a time to highlight the critical importance of hearing health and to challenge the stigma surrounding hearing loss and the use of hearing aids.

Hearing tests should be respected just like eye tests or a dental checkup and our members are here to help and guide you through the process.

If you're seeking advice about hearing aids, you're not alone! With 1 in 9 adults experiencing hearing loss but only 1 in 50 wearing a hearing aid, it's time to address the stigma and take action for better hearing health.

🔍 Visit our website to find a BSHAA Member near you who can provide expert advice: www.bshaa.org or call us on 0333 335 6028 and our team will point you in the right direction.
