As the summer draws to a close and many families begin preparing for the back-to-school season, our Hampshire office team took the opportunity to celebrate another great summer together.

We enjoyed a fantastic evening at The Solent Inn, sharing tapas, live music, and a few drinks while spending quality time with colleagues. It was a wonderful chance to welcome new team members, strengthen connections, and celebrate the continued growth of our friendly and supportive team.

Congratulations to Abi Bird, winner of the School of Thought x SATA UK Spray Gun Design Competition 2026!

Last week, we were proud to host Dave Reece, co-founder of School of Thought, at Mipa Paints UK Headquarters to present Ami with her incredible prize for winning the School of Thought x SATA UK Spray Gun Design Competition 2026.

Ami's creativity and talent earned her a truly unique reward: a personalised SATAjet X 5500 spray gun featuring her own winning design.

To mark the occasion, Abi joined our technical team for a behind-the-scenes visit of our mixing room and spray booth, where she had the opportunity to see automotive refinishing in action and learn more about the products and processes used every day by professionals.

Supporting apprentices and encouraging the next generation of talent is something we're passionate about, making this a fantastic event to be part of.

Mipa Paints Technical Consultant, Adam Taylor, will be taking on a charity cycle ride from Farnham to Hayling Island this Saturday 5th September.

Adam and his brother organise this annual event to raise money for worthy causes. This year, they are supporting Child Bereavement UK, a charity that helps children and young people face life-changing tradgedies.

🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Although our resident four-legged superstar Daisy isn't in the office today, it got us thinking about another memorable dog-related project we've been lucky enough to be involved with.

Last year, we worked with local artist to help coat and protect Dot to Dog, his incredible braille sculpture featured as part of the Paws on the Wharf sculpture trail in Canary Wharf.

While many people know Mipa products for automotive and industrial applications, they're also trusted to help protect creative outdoor projects from the effects of weather, UV exposure and day-to-day wear. By applying a durable clearcoat finish, the sculpture could maintain its appearance while standing up to the challenges of being displayed outdoors.

We're proud to have played a small part in helping bring such a unique and inclusive piece of public art to life.
