A World Cup-themed morning at BNI Hampshire All Stars!

Hayley kicked things off with this week's Core Value, Positive Attitude, reminding us that the mindset we bring to business (and life) often has a bigger impact than the challenges we face.

Jeff then delivered another thought-provoking Education Slot, looking at the ever-changing world of AI, which jobs are likely to remain human-led, and how we may all need to adapt as technology continues to evolve.

With the World Cup now underway, everyone embraced a football theme for their 60-second presentations. There were plenty of clever football references and tournament-inspired pitches around the room.

The only problem?

This week's Oscar judge was Ian Knight.

A man who appears to have all the enthusiasm for football of a referee checking VAR for the fifth time.

So despite all the football-themed efforts, the Oscar went to Hayley, who won after sharing the pain of hearing a 2am alarm so her husband could watch South Korea play on day one of the tournament!

Our 10-minute presentation came from Rob Owens, who continued the football theme with England-supporting printers appearing in his slide deck. Rob gave us a great insight into Print Management, explaining the challenges businesses often create around their printing requirements and the practical solutions he can provide to save time, money and hassle.

A brilliant morning filled with learning, laughter and great conversations.

Another brilliant morning at BNI Hampshire All Stars 🙌

We had a fantastic 10-minute presentation from George, sharing the real value of Power Teams within BNI and how collaborating with the right professionals can drive more referrals and better results for everyone involved.

Richard also gave us a great insight into his core values — positive attitude, building strong relationships, and living by Givers Gain — a perfect reminder of what makes our chapter so powerful.

And a big congratulations to Kalvin, who took home this week’s Oscar with an outstanding 60-second pitch 👏

BNI Hampshire All Stars came back full of energy this week after the Easter break.

We kicked things off with a thought-provoking Ed Slot from Jeremy Garrard, inspired by the book “You Are the Happiness You Seek” by Rupert Spira. He left us with a powerful question: "What if happiness isn’t the result of success, but the foundation of it?"

A great reminder that mindset matters just as much as milestones.

Michael Fletcher spotlighted Lifelong Learning as this week’s BNI Core Value, sharing how both our successes and our mistakes shape us into better professionals — and better people.

The room was buzzing with fantastic 60-second pitches, with everyone clearly recharged after the break. A special shoutout to Kalvin Morris, who took home this week’s Oscar.

Our 10-minute presentation was delivered by Jeff Laming, who gave an eye-opening and highly valuable talk on the importance of Preventative Health — something we should all be prioritising more.

What do great conversations, new opportunities, and a bit of laughter have in common? This week’s meeting.

A brilliant session all round, with members bringing energy, insight, and support to the room.

We kicked things off with Liam Clarke, who shared his chosen BNI core value—Lifelong Learning—and how continuous development helps keep you at the top of your game.

Our Education Slot, delivered by Jeremy Garrard, focused on the three key areas of Control - Influence - Accept. Offering a great reminder of how understanding these can positively shape both life and business.

This week’s Oscar winner for standout 60-second presentations went to Amy O'Shaughnessy—well deserved!

We also had an excellent 10-minute presentation from Mandy Tourle on Lasting Power of Attorney, covering the process, common pitfalls, what to look out for, and why it’s so important for both personal and business planning.

It may be Friday the 13th, but there’s never any hint of bad luck at our BNI Hampshire All Stars Friday meetings.

Another fantastic chapter meeting this morning with plenty of energy in the room, as always.

Kelly Molloy provided us with today’s Core Value – Positive Attitude – sharing some great tips on how the right mindset helps build stronger relationships and better results within BNI and beyond.

Our education slot today was delivered by Marin Robinson, our new DC, who shared some great tips on how to get the most out of being part of BNI and maximise the opportunities within the network.

We also had some excellent 60-second presentations from the team, with Jeff taking home the Oscar for pitch of the day.

The highlight of the meeting was our featured presentation from Ian Knight, who kept everyone entertained with some passionate rants about his experiences navigating architectural development and planning – and the roadblocks that come with it.

What a fantastic Visitors Day at BNI Hampshire All Stars this week! ⭐️

The room was buzzing with energy, collaboration and genuine support for local businesses. It was brilliant to welcome so many visitors and showcase how powerful referrals and relationships can be when the right people are in the room.

BNI really is about givers gain — and this week proved exactly why our Hampshire All Stars chapter continues to go from strength to strength.

Our visitors also took part in speed networking, giving everyone the chance to make quick, meaningful connections and experience the energy and value of BNI straight away — the room was buzzing!

Fantastic end to 2024!
This morning was our last BNI meeting of the year and we went all out festive! Lots of Xmas jumpers and outfits.

Lots of fun and jolly-ness with our Christmas Quiz - well done Team Dasher!

Special shout out to Alannah Jefferies whose family raise an epic £600 for George's Rockstars and we also raised an incredible £370 with our raffle.
