Janus Security Services LTD is a leading provider of security solutions in the United Kingdom. We are seeking a reliable and Proffesional Door Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Door Supervisor with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining order and ensuring the safety of patrons, staff, and premises.

Responsibilities:

* Monitor and control access to premises, ensuring only authorized individuals enter
* Maintain a high level of customer service, handling complaints and incidents in a professional manner
* Patrol designated areas, responding to security breaches and incidents
* Work effectively with colleagues and management to achieve security objectives
* Provide accurate and detailed incident reports
* Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols

Requirements:

* 2 years of experience as a Door Supervisor or similar role
* SIA (Security Industry Authority) licensed
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and situations
* Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods
* Reliable and punctual, with a flexible approach to working hours

Desired Qualifications:

* Previous experience in the security industry
* Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including licensing and health and safety requirements
* First aid training or certification

This afternoon, Callum and Sam headed up to fellow National Association of Jewellers member Bailey & Sons following their recent refurbishment, to carry out a comprehensive security consultation. 🔐

To all those in the security industry:

Over the last few months, we have been working with a client to try to bring a new event to the UK, that focuses on self-employed SIA staff and micro to medium sized security companies.

We are looking at conducting a bit of market research to gauge if there would be interest there for such an event. To do this, we have made an online questionnaire.

🚴‍♂️ What a fantastic day at the VeloPark! ⚡

We were thrilled to be part of CyclingElectric's Demo Day at London's Olympic Park last week, supporting the Green Commute Initiative.

Over 100 e-bikes from more than 15 brands were on the traffic-free circuit for people to try out — from cargo bikes and folders to road, gravel, and accessible tricycles. Whether you're new to cycling or looking for a smarter way to commute, there was something for everyone.

The Janus Security Services team worked hard behind the scenes to keep everything running safely and smoothly, so that everyone on the day — organisers, brands, and visitors alike — could make the most of a brilliant event. 🙌
