𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 – 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆: Ysgol Dyffryn Taf

The Hospitality Academi is a dynamic skills project funded by the UK Government,
administered by Carmarthenshire County Council and delivered by Really Pro Ltd.

On Thursday 4th December 2025, 11 pupils from Ysgol Dyffryn Taf completed training in the Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support and Automated External Defibrillation. Rosie Haden, Thrive Coordinator at the school, arranged the training: “The First Aid course was engaging, inclusive, and gave our learners vital life-saving skills and confidence. The Really Pro team were outstanding.”

Ar ddydd Iau 4ydd Rhagfyr 2025, cwblhaodd 11 o ddisgyblion o Ysgol Dyffryn Taf
hyfforddiant yn y Wobr Lefel 3 mewn Cymorth Bywyd Sylfaenol a Diffibriliad Allanol
Awtomataidd. Trefnodd Rosie Haden, Cydlynydd Thrive yn yr ysgol, yr hyfforddiant: “Roedd
y cwrs Cymorth Cyntaf yn ddiddorol, yn gynhwysol, ac yn rhoi sgiliau achub bywyd hanfodol a hyder i'n dysgwyr. Roedd tîm Really Pro yn rhagorol.”

The Hospitality Academi is a dynamic skills project funded by the UK Government,
administered by Carmarthenshire County Council and delivered by Really Pro Ltd.

On Monday 17th of November 2025, 8 staff from The Diplomat Hotel & Spa located at
Felinfoel, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, SA15 3PG were the recent beneficiaries of Level 3
Award in Basic Life Support and Automated External Defibrillation via The Hospitality
Academi project. Paul Jenkins, Manager “The training was excellent, very beneficial”.

The Hospitality Academi is a dynamic skills project funded by the UK Government, administered by Carmarthenshire County Council. We offer fully funded support via Level 1-3 short courses to train staff working across these sectors. Administered by Carmarthenshire County Council. The project is designed to help hospitality, leisure, accommodation and tourism businesses across Carmarthenshire to upskill, retrain and attract new staff.

Mae’r Academi Lletygarwch yn brosiect sgiliau dynamig wedi ei ariannau Lywodraeth y DU, a gweinyddwyd gan Gyngor Sir Gâr. Rydym yn cynnig cymorth wedi'i ariannu'n llawn trwy gyrsiau byr Lefel 1-3 i hyfforddi staff sy'n gweithio ar draws y sectorau hyn. A gweinyddwyd gan Gyngor Sir Gâr. Caffi Rhiannon located at Heol Parc Mawr, Cross Hands Industrial Estate, Carmarthenshire, SA14 6RE receives high praise for its food quality, service speed, and overall atmosphere. Customers particularly appreciate the consistent quality of their breakfasts and the attentive, polite staff. The cafe is noted for its fast service, homemade food, and being the best breakfast spot in the area. Open 7am - 4pm Mon - Sat.

Tanya, Café Manager and 6 of her staff were the recent beneficiaries of Level 2 Basic life support & safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training via The Hospitality Academi project. Following the session, Tanya said “Fantastic First Aid training, clear, practical and confidence boosting”.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 – 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆: The Mason Arms

The Masons Arms, Kidwelly is located at 37 Water Street, Kidwelly, SA17 5BX, owned and run by Emma Wright. A thatched-roof 14th Century building and 18th Century pub with a stone floor, cozy fire and gorgeous wooden beams, filled with warmth and history, situated in the heart of the historic town of Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire.

Emma, two of her staff and 5 individuals from the community were the recent beneficiaries of Level 2 Basic life support & safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training via The Hospitality Academi project. Following the session Emma said, “the training was very informative”.
